Norway is to hold a national memorial ceremony on August 21 in remembrance of the two July 22 attacks that killed 77 people.
The ceremony should bring together grieving families, survivors of the attack, a number of foreign royal family members, Nordic ministers, and other dignitaries.
The event comes a day after some 1,000 people gathered at one of the attack sites on Utoeya Island to remember the victims.
The island shooting spree, which took the lives of 69 people, has been claimed by Anders Behring Breivik, a right-wing extremist who has also confessed to the other attack, a car bombing in Oslo that killed eight people.
The ceremony in Oslo marks the end of the official grieving period.
