An Afghan woman who was beaten to death by a mob over allegedly burning a copy of the Koran was buried in Kabul on March 22.
The coffin of Farkhunda, known by only one name, was carried to the graveyard by women's rights activists amid crowds of men.
The crowd demanded the government bring the killers to justice.
Mohammad Zahir, a high-ranking official of the Interior Ministry, said no evidence had been found "to support claims that she had burned a Koran."
Police said Farkhunda was killed late on March 19 by a mob of mostly men who beat her, set her body on fire, and then threw it into the Kabul River.
President Ashraf Ghani condemned Farkhunda's killing as a "heinous attack" and ordered an investigation.
Police said 13 people have been arrested in connection with the killing.
