Russian authorities have deported to Kazakhstan journalist Vladislav Ivanenko, who is a Kazakh citizen and an employee of the Properm.ru website in the Russian city of Perm. The move comes even though a court ruling on his appeal against the decision to annul his residence permit is pending. Properm.ru said their colleague's November 14 deportation was illegal and called it a pressure tactic. The online media outlet added it will appeal Ivanenko's deportation as Ivanenko has lived in Russia for eight years and never broke any laws or regulations.
