Russia Pushes To Retake Kursk, Putting Ukraine's Gains Under Threat
Ukrainian forces who have occupied part of Russia's Kursk region since last summer are under increasing military pressure and may have to abandon the territory, say analysts interviewed by RFE/RL. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had planned to trade the Kursk area occupied by Kyiv's troops for Ukrainian territory currently held by Russia but that plan may no longer be viable.
