Iran's foreign minister says talks between Iran and major world powers, which have stalled for more than a year, could resume in Turkey "as soon as possible."
Manuchehr Mottaki told a news conference today in Tehran that he has told "our Turkish friends" that Iran is willing to hold the talks in Turkey.
He said the venue, date, and agenda are still under discussion.
The P5+1 group -- the permanent members of the UN Security Council, plus Germany -- had proposed holding talks with Iran over its nuclear program from November 15-17 in Vienna.
Iran indicated it was open to that idea but never formally agreed.
