Neighbors and family gathered in the Ukrainian community of Vasylkiv, outside Kyiv, to mourn a mother who died on May 18 while shielding her 4-year-old son from a Russian air attack. Anna Yefymenko, 27, was killed in the air strike on the family's apartment but her son, Mark, survived with injuries and remains hospitalized.
