An Iranian delegation has arrived in the southeastern Kazakh city of Almaty ahead of talks with world powers on Tehran's nuclear program.

The Iranian officials are scheduled to resume nuclear talks with counterparts from Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia, and the United States in Almaty on February 26.

The last round of negotiations, held in Moscow in June, ended without any breakthroughs.

The Iranian delegation is headed by chief negotiator Saeed Jalili, who has said that Tehran "will not accept anything beyond our obligations and anything less than our rights."

And in a statement on February 24, the Iranian parliament said the country's nuclear program was "unstoppable."

Western powers suspect Iran is seeking nuclear weapons, which Tehran denies.

The United Nations has imposed sanctions on Iran for its refusal to stop uranium enrichment.
