Kyiv Protesters Aim To Keep Up Pressure Over Law On Anti-Corruption Agencies
Protesters gathered in Kyiv for a fourth day on July 25 to voice opposition to legislation affecting two anti-corruption agencies. Earlier protests prompted President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to change course on the earlier changes and submit a new bill to parliament that he said would preserve the agencies' independence. Some demonstrators said they would continue protesting until the new bill is signed into law.
