The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan says one of its helicopters has crashed in eastern Afghanistan but there were no fatalities.
An ISAF statement says an investigation is under way to determine the cause of the February 7 crash.
It provided no further details on the incident.
An ISAF spokesman told the AFP news agency that initial reports indicates there was no enemy activity at the time of the crash.
A Taliban spokesman told AFP in a text message that the helicopter was shot down by rocket fire in the Tagab district of Kapisa Province and burst into flames.
He claimed all onboard were killed.
Kapisa Province Governor Mehrabuddin Safi said the incident happened in an area where a "clearance operation was ongoing" against militants.
